Time zones?

I'm going on the Carnival Victory in July 2009. What time will it be on the ship? Will the ship be on Eastern United States Standard time? Also, is San Juan on Eastern Standard time so will the ship be leaving at 10:00 PM Eastern Standard time, and then will the times they say we will arrive on the islands be Eastern Standard time?

I don't know what time zone San Juan, P.R. is in, but thats the time that the ship will probably keep to. Most all the ships keep to the time of their home port, so when you get off the ship at the ports of call you will need to keep to ship's time regardless of the local time.

San Juan is on Atlantic time, not Eastern time. Currently San Juan is one hour ahead of New York. During the summer, San Juan is the same time as New York (they don't observe DST in San Juan).

All the southern caribbean islands are on the same time as San Juan so you won't have to worry about changing clocks on your cruise.
