Directions to bus stop

I wanted to look around Philipsburg and Marigot and take the bus between. I couldn't find directions so after asking a few residents (very friendly and helpful) here they are:

1. From the pier follow the Philipsburg walkway, very well labelled and a nice walk, maybe 1-1.5 miles

2. Continue past the "front street and beach" sign

3. After a few minutes you'll hit a bus stop (the wrong one), continue on just a bit

4. Take the next left at the intersection, a full left, over a tiny bridge over a stream

5. Go straight down the street (Front St. but I didn't see the sign)

6. Keep an eye between the shops, at the first throughway go to the right

7. Just across Back Street you'll see the bus stop

8. Look for the small van/bus with the "Marigot" sign, not the St. Peters sign of which there are a lot, and flag it down. It's either 1.50 or 2.00 US$ per person paid as you get off (I saw residents pay both, most with US$ some with euro) and takes maybe an hour, we had a good bit of traffic in both cities

9. You'll see signs as you enter Marigot, and see various sign posts pointing out places of interest. We got off as soon as we could see water within walking distance, and that's near to the tourist spots and residents shops. Lots and lots of shopping. there are plenty of bus stop signs and you'll see a buch of buses heading back to "p-burg"

After returning I know you can take the Front St sign on the walkway and walk over 2 streets to Back Street, and there are plenty of bus stops along it, but these were the directions I took and I know they'll work.

Sorry, I haven't been on the boards since my cruise ended and am returning now that I decided on a new one:)

I don't remember how long it took. The buses travel VERY OFTEN but also make a lot of stops. Maybe 30-60 minutes? We went to Marigot first thing so weren't too worried about the time.
