Parking at Port of San Diego

Recommended Posts

We'll be going on the 11/29/08 Oosterdam 7 night sailing and will be driving our own vehicle to the port. Can anyone recommend a parking lot that is secure and preferrably covered near the port? I checked the port website and see there are several lots nearby, just looking for a recommendation.

Thanks.

We always use the lot right across from the pier. I think it is All Star. It is not covered and the price last time we used it is pricey....$15 a day.....but the convenience is worth it. We have used it 5 times and never had any problems. We consider it part of the cost to cruise.

We were on the Oosterdam last Dec. enjoy the cruise!

Some of the airport parking lots will shuttle you to the cruise ship pier, just ask. Most are $12/day with coupons everywhere to make it $11 or $12/day. The one farthest from the cruise ship port (go past the airport, this lot is the first one on the right) is $10/day with coupons to take it to $9/day.

Wyatt,

We have used an airport parking structure close by-- on Kettner+Laurel. They have a special shuttle that goes to the cruise terminal and when we returned--a call to them brought a shuttle to pick us up within minutes. If you go to San Diego Airport Parking--many sites will be given. There is covered + uncovered parking. We've used them several times!

Here is the best site for cruise ship parking. It has rates and phone numbers. I have used outdoor parking on Broadway and indoor parking at Aladdin. You can walk to the Broadway parking lots. Ask Aladdin how you contact them for a pickup when you get back.
