Cozumel - Beach break question

Hi, my family is booked on the Inspiration in 2 weeks, and it stops in Cozumel. My question is are there any free/public beaches close to the ship? We have some elderly in our group and am looking for something closeby - like withing walking distance of the ship?

Paradise Beach is Free (Sort of, You have to eat/Drink $10.00 worth to get chairs and so fourth on the Beach) Nice but I would take a cab. It's a little walk to just get to the end of the pier just so you know. Good Luck..:)

You need to get a cab to the beach. Paradise is my favorite also. Got to the Ports of Call board for Cozumel. There is so much good info there.

The charge for chairs is only if you do not buy drinks or food.

Thanks for the suggestions... I found out today that the elderly people in my group probably won't be coming to the beach with us, so it will just be me, DH and DD (age 3). Because I don't want to lug around a car seat, is there ANY beach within walking distance of the peir? I'll even pay to get into a club or something. I just don't want to risk driving in a taxi without her in a car seat.

That depends on what pier, or cruiseline your sailing.

You can walk off the pier make a left you will pass the international pier then see El Cid hotel and resort. They just ask you buy food and drinks.
