Tampa on Christmas Day

Hi everyone,

 

We will be staying at the Chase Suite Hotels in Tampa on December 25/08 for a one night pre-cruise. I have got a great rate on that room but I do know that the Restaurant next door, Bahama Breeze will be close on Christmas Day. I don't know what else is around there.

 

We are also wondering if it would be better to book a hotel downtown, where more things might be open.

 

Any tips, comments or advice will be appreciated :)

We will also be arriving in Tampa on Xmas day and are also wondering what may be open for a nice dinner.

 

We will have a rental car so distance is not a problem.

We called the concierge at our hotel, who gave us some names of nearby restaurants that are open. Now that we have decided which one we want, we are going to call back and have her make a reservation. We are staying at the Marriott Waterside. Good luck.
