dwing18 Posted December 1, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 1, 2008 My choice is down to these 2. I am going solo on my first cruise. I have read about the stops and they sound pretty much the same. $980 for outside on Valor or $711 for inside on Freedom. Tell me something to tip the scales
IslandCruiser87 Posted December 1, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 1, 2008 Both the Carnival Valor and Freedom have identical layouts (Sister Ships)Only differences are the interior theme and Freedom is a slightly newer ship. We never had an inside cabin we always had either a oceanview or balcony room, but $ 980 is a lot of money for an oceanview. Is this beacause of the solo price making room cost higher because no 2nd person in cabin or? When are you sailing?

As far as inside vs outside i would take in consideration how much time you feel you will spend in your cabin and if money isnt a big issue. JXR Posted December 2, 2008 #5 Share Posted December 2, 2008 I did both as a B2B this past April. They are both really nice. I also sail solo. I preferred the Freedom due to the fact that the Piano Bar was livelier ... Joanne
