I called my PVP today to book my Feb 2010 cruise on the Dream and she told me there was going to be a Tram on the Dream. HUH I say......she said ya, the ship is so big it's to take guests from one end to the other.

Has anyone else heard this little tidbit and have any more info?

Does anyone have any other interesting tidbits?

How exciting!

There was a "ship concept" video [cartoon really] put out by the shipbuilder, NOT Carnival. The ship portrayed was in CCL colors but it was not a CCL ship.

There was a tram that ran all the way around the promenade deck and at the middle of the ship it became a vertical elevator to the top deck where it hooked onto the tram cable and became a tram all around the top deck. The ship also had a rafting stream down one side of the ship.

It is/was a shipyard DREAM ship, not the Carnival Dream.

No, it's not true. The ship most people saw on YouTube was a "Pinnacle Project" concept ship presented by Fincantieri yards. It was huge with a tram running all over the place. It was simply a concept with no plans to build. Youtube has pulled the video....Fincantieri had it pulled due to copywright infringement.
