Gala Posted December 2, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 2, 2008 For those who consider spending a few hours on Pinel Island, a taxi ride to the ferry cost $9 per person and takes some 30 min; a short ferry ride costs $7 (round trip) and runs from St.Maarten to Pinel on the half hour, and from Pinel to St.Maarten on the hour (from 9am to 5pm when we were there) (St.Maarten is 1 hour ahead of the ship's time by the way) Pinel is a little paradise island, with a separate snorkeling area and of course a beach, and also 2 restaurants and a very nice gift shop. Have a great trip gala

Have a great trip gala Hi Gala, You answered most of my questions in the other thread. Thank you. A couple of more questions: Do you need a taxi to the snorkeling area/beach? and I thought you said you went to French side in the other thread. Is the Ferry terminal in Marigot, St. Martin or in St. Maarten?
