As in Norman - he's a Shetlander by birth I think. Not sure if the kilt's a good idea up there - too windy by half.

If the Third Foot and Mouth could cope in the Kyber pass, with only one having a hot water bottle for his dangler, then I'm sure that the Shetland Islands are a breeze...

 

Although, as we all know, the "Devils in Skirts" weren't unanimous in their disdain for the traditions of the Regiment!

What do you mean Essex? That isn't a nationality is it? Gav, have you ever heard of a place called Old Essex. I believe I was told it is next to Essex.

 

No, i was born in Essex :eek: it is a County and has a reputation :rolleyes:

 

Not heard of Old Essex :confused:
