flagger Posted December 3, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 3, 2008 This question is for the best of circumstances, no fog, no customs issues, regular clearance, etc. I was wondering how soon those Liberty cruisers have gotten off the ship when doing Express walk off. We are booked on a flight out of MIA that leaves at 1812. However there is one at 1045. I would love to stand by for that one instead of waiting around the airport all day. How soon have you made it off the ship and to MIA airport if you did express walkoff on Liberty? Thanks
Host Karen Posted December 3, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 3, 2008 They started express departure around 6:30 on our 11/8 sailing. We had a 10:55 a.m. flight out of Miami and requested a 7:30 departure time. We received yellow tags for departure between 7:30 and 8, and we departed the ship around 7:35. We picked up our luggage from the belt, went through customs, hopped in a taxi and were at the airport by 8:15. For a huge ship, Liberty certainly knows how to disembark passengers efficiently. flagger Posted December 3, 2008 Author #3 Share Posted December 3, 2008 Thanks. We would love not having to wait around an airport and you cannot check in your luggage with AirTran until three hours before flight time.
