I knew you had to make reservations for the two restaraunts "Mama's and Tango's." However, I have been hearing rumors of them charging entrance fees when it comes to dining in both places. Is that true?

That's interesting because when I did the Star back in 06', you just had to

make reservations in advance and not pay a fee.

We were on Jade a few month ago. Since we were a big group and the cruise was in the Med, the only available time slot for dinner at Mama's was 6 PM. When we asked for the check, we were told that there is no charge before 7PM.

 

But maybe they only do this in the Med, where most people want to eat late and so they offer some kind of incentive to get some guests to eat earlier.

Well, I was wondering because I wanted to try Mama's Kitchen since I didn't get to at the Italian restaraunt on the Star but heard that they were not that great. However, for all those Italian lovers out there, what do you recommend because I happen to love eggplant parm. Do they offer that on there?
