Voyager OTS or Carnival Ecstasy?

We are trying to decide on a cruise from Galveston in February-- currently we are booked on the Voyager for a 7-day W. Caribbean cruise going to Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Cozumel, but because of economics, we are considering changing to the Ecstasy for a 5-day cruise that would go to Progreso and Cozumel. We are traveling with two kids (ages 8 and 11). We would be interested in feedback from anyone who has either looked at or considered both ships for a family cruise. Thanks.

imo, voyager and it's no contest. quality of the ship and kids' programs. but if cost is an issue, you gotta do what you gotta do. ecstasy's more run down and the crowd would be less kid-friendly.

Absolutely the Voyager.

Not even a comparison other than they both float.

Ice skating shows the royal promenade like a shopping mall and many other things. If the money is not a major issue it is like comparing 5 star to a 2 star.
