I went to Sea Grape (Part of 7-mile Beach). Taxis were readily available to take you there, and bring you back to the ship.

 

Loved it there. Have a great time in Caymans.

Busses run the length of 7 mile beach and cabs are also readily available.

plenty of buses from city hall,2 blocks from pier.take a left @ the exit, then a right up past jewery stores,then straight on, just ask.

just back from area called cemetry beach, quiet and very clean, approx 3 miles along, great for swimming & snorkeling, can see the cruise ships.

Take a cab from the tender pier. Tell the driver what services or facilities you want t5o be near or far from and they will take you there and typically arrange a time for the return.

AS it was quiet,there are apart / hotels, just asked staff if we could use the general restrooms,this was laundry room

no bars,there was beach chairs which we used

.

 

watched the RCCL ship exploration trip in the same area , for snorkeling.

sorry too old, just a swim.

no problem with your using own gear.
