Acapulco's Restaurant at Ports O Call.

Several places at Ports 'o Call can serve as a good place to see the ships leave, not just that particular restaurant. The pier behind the LA Martime Museum is also a great place. This time of year the ships are leaving about dark though (most leave at 5PM).

THanks everyone I ended up at the Fireboat station, got some nice pictures. The ships left at 4 so it was still light and a nice sunset followed.

Hi, I lived in Encino until I was 7 (close to Hayvenhurst, south of Ventura). That was years and years ago.

we really enjoy ports o call...there are some great places to eat and relax. Glad you had a good time.
