transportation in MIA

We are flying in a day early for our cruise and we are staying at a Extended Stay (Homestead Studio Suites Miami-Airport-Miami Springs). What is the best way to get to the port in the AM? There will be 6 of us with plenty of luggage. I am just wondering what a cab will cost from there. Or if we are better off taking the free hotel shuttle to the airport then grabbing the 24 dollar cab ride? Any help would be great!! Thanks

I'm not sure how far the hotel is from the pier, but i'm sure the hotel would be able to tell you.

might be a PITA to switch rides at the airport, but might be worth it.

I'd just call the hotel, i'm sure people do it all the time :)

good luck!

Rent a car. You can get a 24 hour rental from most major companies starting at about $30. Even if you get a cheaper car and have to do 2 trips it will most likely be easier than relying on cabs. Plus a lot of rental companies have free shuttles to the POM from the MIA airport drop off.
