Second Formal Night on Navigator

CarolR

Recommended Posts

We are sailing on the Navigator on May 1st to the Western Caribbean. This is our first RCI cruise after 6 on Carnival of which we thoroughly enjoyed every one. Does anyone know what night is the second formal night. We wanted to take the catamaran sail and snorkel tour in Cozumel but it doesn't leave until 2:00 PM and is 3 1/2 hours long. If formal night is on Thursday this doesn't leave much time to get ready. Has anyone done this tour and is there enough time to get back for dinner?

I'm not certain of that answer - I think it's Wednesday night.

You ought to come check out our thread on the Roll Call board. There are about 30 of us meeting on the ship. icon_smile.gif Sign up for the meet and mingle event and meet us after the muster drill as well. icon_smile.gif

CarolR, we are a group of 12 also on the 5/1 NOS. We will also be at the meet and mingle, sign up and join us.

From what I have found on the message boards and elsewhere it looks like this.

Two formal nights - Sunday and Wednesday

One smart casual night - Monday

Four casual nights - Saturday, Tuesday, Thrusday and Friday

This is also our first cruise on NOS so I hope I have gotten good information.

Now, if they would just tell us our first post we will be all set.

Our first stop on the NOS Western itinerary was Nassau. Then the M & M meeting was on Monday, the sea day. Be sure to get by and see Matt Yee. He's a lot of fun...it's an adult sing-a-long.

Hope you all have a great time and that your weather is just as nice as ours was (upper 80s and cloudless all 7 days).

Thanks for the quick response. Looking forward to our first RCI cruise. We are a group of 13 including a few teenagers and I'm sure this ship will keep them busy with the sports activities. Counting the days....

Just a word on the sail/snorkel - when I booked the excursion online before my cruise, it said it was supposed to leave at 1pm. However, when we got our excursion tickets on the ship, the time had been changed to 8am. Don't know why, but it was.
