FinallyConvincedDH2Cruise Posted December 8, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 8, 2008 Just off Indy and sorry if this topic already has come up. I heard on Cruise Critic how bingo was a rip-off, but I really didn't realize how bad it got. -Went to play with my Mom, it was so empty they had to cancel the game as payouts would only be $23 at the most when the cards cost $31. -Went the next day, decided to only play the 4th round as we had 17 free games from coupons, etc. Glad we only played the free ones as rounds 1 through 3 had about an $80 jackpot at the most. One round four people won and each got no more than $20, oh... and a free keychain. -We decided to hold out for the 'Win a Free Cruise Bingo' but it never appeared in the Compass. Last night after the show I ran into the woman who runs Bingo and asked her if I missed it or did they get rid of it. After a long pause she said "yes and no"... they they still have Free Cruise Bingo on some ships but they are getting rid of it and are "revamping" the bingo program. Lynnees Posted December 8, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 8, 2008 I ahven't played bingo on a ship in years. And I never will. The cost is outrageous and they keep more and more of the money for themselves. One of the biggest cash cows they have.
missbogota Posted December 8, 2008 #3 Share Posted December 8, 2008 So sorry to hear this! I love bingo! I am one of those that will pay and play no matter what the cost is...I just want to know I would have a chance to win enough to get my money back.:(
