Transportation to "Coki Beach" & "Orient Beach"

Can someone tell me the best way to get to "Coki Beach" from the pier in St. Thomas and to "Orient Beach" from the pier in St. Maarten? Also, what should we expect to pay?

There are taxis at the pier as soon as you get off the ship in St. Thomas. We took a cab for the 3 of us to Coral World/Coki Beach for $21 one way. The guy who picked us up and took us back to the pier didn't charge us for our 3 year old ($14). I've heard $7/person is average- I'm sure it's possible to get something cheaper... Can't help you with St. Maarten as we just hung out at the beach on the Dutch side.

Taxi to Orient Beach was $5.00 per person, The taxi van going was full with about 14 or 15 people. On the way back it was just our party of 4, but fare was the same. Driver was not shy about asking for tips.
