bigal3967 Posted December 11, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 11, 2008 When we were there for our honeymoon 20 yrs ago in July off the Norweigan Seaward, we took a taxi to the beach and laid around and swam and snorkled most of the day. We also did some shopping. It was a very relaxing and uneventful day just like we wanted. How about you, what's yours?? Big Al
Caribbean Sunsets Posted December 19, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 19, 2008 Since I've only been to GC once, I have to say the stingray tour was incredible. Those creatures are so amazing and graceful as the move through the water! We also got some beach time in at Rum Point Beach. The beach was beautiful and we enjoyed a delicious lunch. wannuhcruise Posted December 19, 2008 #3 Share Posted December 19, 2008 I'm looking forward to my first cruise in a couple of months and we'll be going to Grand Cayman. I spent two summers there as a teenager going to scuba camp at Rum Point and can't wait to go back!

Parrotheadfamily Posted December 20, 2008 #5 Share Posted December 20, 2008 I have been to a cruise then stayed a week a Tortuga Resort. In terms of the cruise, my favorite would be the private snorkel tour we took with Captain Marvins. Of course, we stopped at Stingray City - a must for first time visitors. Tortuga resort is on the same side of the Island as Rum Point. It was a so relaxing. Ok, snorkeling. The best part of the Cayman's is the snorkeling and resting on the beaches. They cannot be beat. Of course, if you are a diver then diving is a must. Caymans have some of the best diving in the world.
crusinpsychRN Posted January 26, 2009 #6 Share Posted January 26, 2009 What is the cost of Nativeways RRR tour?
Caribbean Sunsets Posted January 26, 2009 #7 Share Posted January 26, 2009 What is the cost of Nativeways RRR tour? I did the RRR tour in November. The cost was $62 but we had a group of 10 and they knocked $5 off the price pp. This price includes a very good and fresh lunch at Rum Point Beach. bigal3967 Posted January 27, 2009 Author #9 Share Posted January 27, 2009 OK I am back. We did the Rays, Reef and Rum point tour with Nativeways and it was awesome. They also took us by to snorkle where the starfish are. The lunch was great and the beach was a little crowded but still fantastic! Any questions, fire away.
