Difference between Catergories

I am sailing this Sat. on the Navigator and it is the first time with a balcony. From the other post, it certainly seems that I will be forever sold on balconies, but what is the difference in all the different categories.
I am in a "DB", while I see other postings with a letter and a number. We are on Deck 7.
Cannot wait - it seems as if I have been looking forward to this forever.

What you are in was originally called a 'DB'. RCCL has since reclassified the catagories on their ships. Yours is now the equivalent of an E2... unless it's a triple, quad or connecting then it's an E1. Either way, they are the same size, 184 sq ft with a 42 sq ft balcony. The other difference would be location.

And yes, going back to an inside or ocean view would be really tough!
