I remember reading in an old post people discussing a restaurant that they liked on Moores whose name translated to something about a turtle in english. I cann't find this old post and was hoping someone knew the actual name of the resaturant.

If not, other restaurant recommendations would be great!

Thenks,

I believe you are talking about Te Honu Iti, which seems to get rave reviews.

We were looking forward to eating there when we were in Moorea recently.

Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed temporarily while we were there. I assumed maybe the owners were on vacation. Hopefully it has re-opened. I would also recommend Le Mahogany.

locals recommended Les Nouveaux Monde

Heard good and so-so reviews about Alfredo's

Chez Capo supposed to be good

La Linareva restaurant gets good reviews

also heard good things about Le Plantation

tahiti-explorer has good information on the islands
