newcruzrs4 Posted December 14, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 14, 2008 We'll be on Pearl 12/21 for Western Carib. Want to do snuba and beach excursions in Roatan and Cozumel. NCL offers snuba in both. Beach choices are Tabyana and Coral Cay in Roatan and Playa Mia in Cozumel. Any thoughts on best choices for each type of excursion? Also, do contact lenses work for snuba? Thanks in advance. bakerintn Posted December 14, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 14, 2008 Also, do contact lenses work for snuba? Thanks in advance. You can wear contacts. However, if your mask floods, you may loose one or both. So, be careful when taking off your mask while in the water. Hopefully you always travel with a spare pair "just in case". cello8619 Posted December 16, 2008 #6 Share Posted December 16, 2008 I have done the Snuba in Cozumel, and it is great!!! I wear contacts and had no problems, my parents also went on this excursion while they were visiting (both wear glasses) but were still able to see all the fish / coral with no problems. Snuba is a lot of fun, and its great being able to go down up to 25 ft!!
