marieadela Posted December 15, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 15, 2008 I will be in port in May and I am looking for a nice beach with good snorkeling. I like how Cemetery Reef Beach is, not many people but no restrooms:eek:. Does anyone know if they are any restrooms in walking distance? Where else do you suggest we can go that has snorkel equipment to rent near by, good snorkeling of course, and a nice beach to relax at that is not to crowed. Any suggestions would be great:). sappygirl Posted December 17, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 17, 2008 From what all I have read on other posts, one does not go with the other. You either will have good snorkling with little or no beach area or beach with not so good snorkling. You might look into doing a tour where they will take you out snorkling and then spend the rest of the day at a beach.
seg1 Posted December 24, 2008 #3 Share Posted December 24, 2008 Is there any location that I can see some fish in shallow water (under 5')? I don't like to go over my head as I can't really swim.
Darcy03231 Posted January 2, 2009 #4 Share Posted January 2, 2009 Here are two sites I found that talk about snorkeling from shore near the cruise ship pier: http://caymanislandsdiscounts.com/Of...Snorkeling.htm http://grandcaymancruiseexcursions.c...Snorkeling.htm Reviews of the snorkeling from these places have been good.
