Hi,

Going on Carnival Liberty on Feb 21 09. Had significant other when booked;not now! For all you single cruisers... should I go alone or try to find someone to go before hand? How many real singles are usually sailing? I can always have fun with my adult children who are also going but it would be nice to share the experience with someone as well. And for the record I am male,51 and if I do take someone it will be a female. :)

I would say go alone. Then again I never meet any single males on cruises

Carnival has a reputation for having singles, and a guy I use to date takes his kids (high school) on Carnival cruises. He seemed to have a good time. He was late 40s.

I travel solo, and in the morning I am leaving on a cruise from Chile to Argentina round the horn. While there aren't solos on the ones I seem to be on, I haven't done Carnival. Also, I tend to take international ones and longer cruises.
