Pre cruise hotel/honeymoon?

We are sailing on Oasis for our honeymoon Jan 2nd..we are getting married new years eve and plan on flying out to FLD on New Years Day....what is a good hotel to stay at being that it's our honeymoon? We want something close to port but also close to the night life in FLD. Which hotels have good breakfast spots in the hotel or close by?

 

Any suggestions would be appreciated...we want to book it in the next month or two

I'm going on the 1/16 sailing as my honeymoon :D

only thing I can really recommend is the Embassy Suites on 17th...not really the highest end of luxury though...maybe a question to be asked on the Florida departures board...

I would recommend either the Ft. Lauderdale Grande Hotel and Yacht Club or Hyatt Pier 66. Both are right across the street from the Port and the Grande is on the water taxi stop, so you can easily take it downtown to Las Olas if you want some nightlife.
