Life's a Beach!! Posted December 20, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 20, 2008 I posted this on ports of call and did not get any responses so I am going to try here: Which one is a better choice? We have 13 of us ages 5 to 75... I am leaning towards sunset after looking at the websites. Can any experienced travelers give me some feedback? 9 days and counting!! shipty2 Posted December 20, 2008 #4 Share Posted December 20, 2008 Sunset Jamaica Grande is the resort you see when the ship docks in Ocho Rios. The sunset beach resort formerly called Seawind is in Montego Bay. Bamboo beach is close enough to walk but the walk is about 15 minutes down the road from where the ship socks. In fact if you choose this excursion through the ship someone meets you at the pier and you all walk together. You can also get there on you own and pay at the entrance if you don't want to commit one way or the other until the last minute. Sunset is awesome, absolutely beautiful. I would go to Sunset . What is the difference in cost? Must be alot because I recall Bamboo beach as being is so cheap.
