Our 2005 cruise the carrribean Princess actually had a gettogther, sponsered by Princess with champagne! In the program is was listed as a meeting of Friends of Dorothy.

I'm on the 1/5/09 sailing so I'll be sure to post a review when I get back. Princess does host Friends of Dorothy gatherings throughout the cruise, although not nightly usually like NCL does.

 

I'll make sure I return the ship for your sailing in good order! ;)

Hey! My bf and I are on the 2/15 Crown Princess sailing. Very much looking forward to it. This will be my 11th Princess cruise and my first on the Crown. It will by my bf's first cruise, so I'm excited to watch him enjoy the trip (hopefully).

 

On all past trips, there were always FOD gatherings - at least a couple. Often, if there were enough of us at the first one, Princess would schedule more and put the time/place in the Patter. On other cruises, we all simply agreed to a standing time and place when whomever was available would drop by - usually for a cocktail. Sometimes there were four of us, sometimes 15 - it all depends on the gay/lesbian passengers.

 

FYI - I think the gatherings are usually posted now as LGBT Rainbow gathering.

Our cruise is coming up soon, and I am really excited. Now my bf is getting excited too and talking about all sort of adventures and activities when we are in port.

You guys will have a blast! The cruise staff is very gay friendly although to my understanding of it none of them are gay. However, they hosted a nightly GLB get together. My review from my cruise is up in the Member Review area for the ship. Look for my user name. :)
