Something New For Adventure Ocean

On Liberty a few weeks ago they introduced "Adventure Ocean Family Open Play" for the Aquanaut and Explorer rooms from 12:30-1:30 pm. I think this is something new. Here's what the Compass says;

"Adventure Ocean will be OPEN to families who would like to come in and play in our facilities. Please note that children must be acompanied by an adult during open play" It is essentially an opportunity for parents to go into these areas and play with their kids.

 

There were only about 400 kids on my sailing and I do not believe that it generated a lot of interest in the Explorer group (can't speak for the Aquanauts). However, I see this as a great alternative for parents during the busier school vacation weeks and holidays. It is yet another venue that RCI is providing. While we don't cruise/travel during school vacations, I think this is a wonderful way to spend some quality time in a facility designed specifically for kids:)

 

I have all of the Compass itineraries for the eastern route on Liberty and if I can figure out how to scan it will be happy to share it (Cruisinmama06, I would be happy to send it to you if you do not have recent copies, and if I can figure out how;))

They had something similar on the Mariner two weeks ago. I'm not sure what it was called and we did not save the kid's compasses.
