siflsockpuppet Posted December 24, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 24, 2008 The deck plans for the Star show triangles and plus symbols on some rooms, which I thought meant three and four person capacity, respectively. However, when I go through any travel website to book a stateroom for four (oceanview or inside), the site offers not only the plus but also the triangle. So, which is it? Are they all four person capacity? Is there a difference? Do some staterooms have two drop down beds and some have one? Do they bring me some sort of roll-away bed if I book a triangle and need a fourth bed? Anyone been on the Star who can tell me for sure?
garycarla Posted December 24, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 24, 2008 You might want to look at the posting about 5 in a room as another poster listed all cabins that can handle that earlier today. I am guessing if it has both symbols, you can do 1, 2,3, or 4. They just dont bother mentioning the 1 or 2.
siflsockpuppet Posted December 24, 2008 Author #3 Share Posted December 24, 2008 It doesn't have both symbols - it has one or the other, triangle or plus sign. On at least one deck plan I saw, triangle meant three people, plus meant four. So a room with a plus, no problem. But a room with a triangle - is that suitable for four? Bobbye Posted December 24, 2008 #4 Share Posted December 24, 2008 Closed in triangle is a triple and the + is a quad. What website is showing the triangles as able to hold 4?
