Conquest Supper Club

My husband and I are traveling on the Conquest for our anniversary. I've cruised before but have never eaten in any of the supper clubs. I read in one of the member reviews of the Conquest that there was a $25 per person cover charge for The Point. Is the cost of the food included in that cover charge, or is it extra? Has anyone ever eaten there? Is it worth it?

This should help

The Supper Club is an intimate restaurant that accepts reservations for when the guest chooses to dine for dinner between the hours of 6:00pm-9:30pm. Reservations are made by telephone from the guest's cabin. This is an alternative to eating in the Dining Room or the Lido Restaurant. The Supper Club features prime steaks.

The reservation fee is $30 per guest, per entree. This fee includes the wait staffs' gratuity; additional gratuities are optional and may be extended in cash or to the guest's Sail & Sign Account, at the guest's discretion. The reservation fee does not include any beverage that is normally ordered through the bar service such as wine, liquor, soda and bottled water.

Is it worth it? YES!!!!!!!!!!! The price is $30 per person. Although it's not "all you can eat" per se, it is definitely more than you can eat at one meal. They just keep bringing you more and more..... When you think you can't eat another bite, here comes another treat that you can't resist. Service is beyond compare. A bit of advice is to eat light on the day of your Supper Club dinner. You'll need extra room! LOL! We have found that the best time to go is early in the week. You owe it to yourselves to do this. It is definitely worth the money.

The Point is wonderful!!! The chocolate trio dessert is out of this world.

I would highly recommend it. It is very quiet atmosphere and the wait staff is superb. (And no one minds saying, "What is that you ordered" :):):)

We ate there last year with our table mates that were on their honeymoon. It was such a treat and well worth the $30 each.

Any of the supper clubs are brilliant. Regardless of ship, the food and service are stunning.

The Point is wonderful.

Go, enjoy and remember that your $30 includes the basic tip. If you think the service is above and beyond please tip more. I always do.

:)
