need help fast: water temps

i'm just about ready to book a dolphin swim in cozumel for next week, but i'm afraid the water will be COLD. we don't want to be so cold that we can't enjoy the dolphins.

 

has anyone been there in the last few days and went in the water?? thanks!

Here is a link to a website that pulls temperatures and wave heights from buoys.

Click on the region in the Gulf of Mexico, then click on "Sea Surface Temperature". It will give you current temps. It looks to me like the temperature is mid to upper 70s.

We always cruise in January and the water temps have always been perfect! Have fun!
