South Palm Cruiser Posted December 26, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 26, 2008 Some thoughts on the Navigator of the Seas - Dec. 20 to 24 - report card style: Entry to Port Everglades - "D" - LOTS of traffic - not RCI's fault - 10 ships in port that Saturday !!!! Embarcation - "A" - fastest we've ever gotten on board !!! Stateroom - "B-" we (family of 4) had the connecting D1 and interior - aft end of deck 9 - not much elbow room - no sofa due to position of connecting door, which is a single door, so it is either open or closed - not one door on each side to close for some temporary privacy - a little wear and tear -housekeeping could have been better. Water quality - "A" - no yellow water, as some have noted - no yellow towels either. Water pressure - "A" in shower, "D" in sink Common areas - "A" - outstanding condition for a 6 year old ship. Only felt crowded in the Windjammer. Holiday decorations -"D" - I expected better due to past experience Bingo - "A" - they have these awesome hand-held electronic devices - only way to go - also sell traditional cards. Food : Winjammer - "A" - for what it is (cafeteria buffet), it was as good as you'll get Portofinos - "F" - they should have paid us to eat there - too bad, it was great on Freedom of the Seas, which is why we booked it again. MDR - breakfast - "B" - adequate, but bland. MDR -dinner - N/A - as C&A Diamond, our confirmation was for a table for 4 - they put us at a table for 8 - would not move us - ate dinner at the buffet. Chankannab Park in Cozumel - "A" - beautiful !! Disembarcation - "A" - fastest ever, as was getting on. All in all, great 4 day getaway.
