You've won a FREE Cruise

Our neighbors went on a 'free cruise' offered by some time share company. They went on the Discovery out of Ft Lauderdale to Freeport. They had to pay various taxes and port charges and they were given a crummy hotel room, of couse they did have the option to 'upgrade' for more money. They did have to go to a bunch of time share garbage. Now, if you feel like doing a short land based vaction to freeport, you can book the Discovery yourself and comibne it with a hotel of your choice for about the same price as you pay for your 'free vacation'

We entered the contest thru Princess where you had to send in a photo and 60 words or less about your experience on a recent cruise. We won a free cruise, airfare, transfers and port charges to either the Caribbean or Alaska. We chose Alaska since we hadn't been there. Princess was very flexible with us, letting us choose dates and everything. We got an outside with window too.

We still spent a lot of money on the ship and excursions, plus we went 3 days early and checked out Alaska. It was a wonderful experience! Guess we were just lucky.
