psyfi Posted December 27, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 27, 2008 Hey all, anyone been diving in Alaska? We are considering Ketchikan or Skagway just wondering if anyone had done this, who with, was it worth it? I'd love to see some photos if anyone has any. We are not worried about cold water as we are dry suit divers already.
bruce-r Posted December 27, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 27, 2008 I'd look at http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/alaska-polar-bears/ for info from local divers for Alaska.

bruce-r Posted December 27, 2008 #4 Share Posted December 27, 2008 I know for certain that it can be done. A dive buddy who has a brother living in Anchorage has been diving in Alaska a couple of times during visits there. The farthest north I've been is Campbell River, BC. You'll definitely want your drysuits. Quadra underwater photos 2006 Quadra 2005 photos
psyfi Posted December 27, 2008 Author #5 Share Posted December 27, 2008 Those photos are amazing. I'll keep looking for a diver operator that might work.
