carontori Posted December 28, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 28, 2008 Traveling with elderly MIL. Need info. Thanks!!! This is the excursion booked directly through NCL. Our bus was air conditioned but when we got to the ruins my Mother was unable to do all the walking. the paths are uneven and it was a very hot day. keep this in mind if the MIL has any difficulty with walking. Silverspoon Posted December 29, 2008 Author #3 Share Posted December 29, 2008 Okay...this is confusing! Thanks for the replies, though. Some must have A/C and some not?:p
Toyz711 Posted December 29, 2008 #4 Share Posted December 29, 2008 it's more like some are working and some aren't. most of the tours, through ncl, are with grey lines. their busses, drivers and guides. our bus, to lamanai in belize, was air conditioned...but the seats were awful. the bus ran well...but the overhead bins were flopping around. the driver and guide was outstanding!! even at lamanai, where you are under the trees all day, the temps were over 80 and very humid..everyone was sweating...in december, last year.
