Dining in Cozumel

We will be in Cozumel with NCL next week and it looks like it's going to be a shopping day. All the walking around is going to make me hungry, so where are the best places to eat lunch, not necessarily the most expensive? Thanks .

My husband and I were in Cozumel a few months ago - we asked one of the locals for a good authentic place to eat and they directed us to La Choza. It is about 3-4 blocks behind the plaza. I can't recall the actual street but I'm sure any local or cab driver could escort you. The food was awesome and the atmosphere was nice too.

La Choza reopened last week at their new location, next door to their original location. They are on 10th avenue between calle 3 and A.R. Salas, just south of the pedestrian plaza. They used the location mentioned by the previous poster as a temporary site until they could build their own restaurant after a fire destroyed their palapa roof again.

To those familiar with La Choza, they are just around the corner from the old location on A.R. Salas, cement roof this time, no palapa.
