Sky Sail Away BBQ?

adj2004

Recommended Posts

I've heard that sometimes there's a "Sail Away" party or BBQ on the deck as the ship is leaving port. Can any recent Sky cruisers confirm?

Thanks!

-Angie

We were on the 12/19 sailing and also the 12/22 sailing on both there was a sail away bbq by the pool deck.

debbie...do u have 2 disembark on a back 2 back cruise? do u have the same cabin?

Our experience on RCCL regarding b2b's --- and yes, the same cabin -- is that on the last morning of the first cruise, we are escorted off by ships' staff through immigration & customs, are given are "New" key cards for the room, and then let back on board ship, prior to the "new" crowd for the 2nd leg.

I can only assume that NCL does something similar.

If you can get the same cabin you will have it...but we couldn't my mom and i had two different cabins...our room attendant helped move our stuff over....we did have to get off the ship go through customs...wait til everything was cleared til we can get back on, we did have the ship to ourselves for about a half hour.

We weren't escorted by anyone...it actually seemed like nobody new what to do with us...We would ask questions and they looked at us like we were crazy finally on that morning I got an answer and we proceeded.
