frozen north Posted December 31, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 31, 2008 Cruising EC 1/10 on Splendor and scheduled to be at Dominican Republic LaRomana port on 1/14. I was on the www.viport.com site to see which pier we are at for STT and happened to notice that it lists this cruise as going next to Casa de Campo, DR as opposed to LaRomana, DR where Splendor goes the week before. This could change people's plans. Anyone know anything further about this? I know there is discussion re safety, but any definitive information on an actual change for this particular cruise? Thank you.

Cruise9999 Posted December 31, 2008 #4 Share Posted December 31, 2008 Casa de Campo and La Romana refer to the same pier. This is correct, it's two names for the same place. And by the way, it's a great stop. I recommend the ship's Countryside Tour if you want to get a brief taste of life there.
