Lunch in Belize City?

We plan to take it easy .....look around the city and find a nice place for lunch. Any recommendations will be very much appreciatated.

DW and I taxied to Bird's Isle on the driver's recommendation. His name was Alton and he returned to get us at the appointed time. Rest. has a bar and is open air on the water with wonderful seafood. We were on Spirit Dec. 7th. steve

We have traveled to Belize at least five times. I do not like leaving the port area without a tour. We have often eaten at the Wet Lizard. It has authentic Caribbean food, and it is a fun place. We will be there again in two weeks. Love their food!!!:):):)

Try the Radisson Hotel which is a couple of blocks east of the Cruise Port

 

Complex. They have a restaurant, a poolside bar & grill, and also a casual

 

restaurant on the deck. It is located in a safe area.

We LOVE the Wet Lizard ! The owner is from the states - they vacationed there one year, fell in love with it, moved them all (2 school age daughters!) down there about 7 years ago !!!

Great food, too !!!
