Shopping in Cozumel? Where?

Hi all! We will be cruising to Cozumel for Spring Break. We have been here before but we went to Nochi Cocum. We have heard a lot about the shopping in Cozumel and would like to try that this time. It seems like when we got a taxi to go to Nochi Cocum, we turned right on the main road. Is the shopping area the other direction? Is there much shopping there? Do you need to take a taxi or can you walk? Any information would be so helpful. Thanks!

If you dock at Punta Langosta pier, you can walk to all the downtown shopping. If you are at the Puerta Maya or International, you will need a taxi.

The best area to shopping is the downtown... you can walk in front of the sea and find a lot of shops to buy many different stuff...

We love shopping in Cozumel. No particular store or shop. We just walk around, looking. When we see something we want to buy, we stop and check it out. If our "feeling" is good, we buy. If we get the "feeling" we are getting taken or just don't like the person we move on.

Shop, the people are wonderfully nice. Don't get taken in by only shopping at DInternatioinal or the "selected" stores. We have found better deals or items with the other shops along the way.

 

We bought a beautiful pink and white Sapphire bracelet for our daughter. And while we were having our margarita's they packaged up our bracelet!

 

Just shop where you feel comfortable and the people are the nicest.
