agavin Posted January 5, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 5, 2009 Could someone tell me what kind of hours the pools are open for on the Legend? Specifically, when they close in the evenings? Thanks!!
rico Posted January 6, 2009 #2 Share Posted January 6, 2009 We just left the Legend on Jan 4. The hours varied a little depending on the day, but only by an hour. Here's the pool schedule straight from the Capers: Pools: Forward until 8pm Midship until 10pm Aft until 10pm Hot tubs: Forward until 8pm Midship until 10pm Aft until midnight

TX Traveling Mom Posted January 14, 2009 #4 Share Posted January 14, 2009 Were the pools open when in port? How about the slide?
rico Posted January 15, 2009 #5 Share Posted January 15, 2009 Yes, the pools were open while in port. Many people stayed on board and just hung out around the pools. The slide hours were 10:00 - 5:00 on sea days and 12:00 - 5:00 on port days.
agusto1999 Posted January 15, 2009 #6 Share Posted January 15, 2009 This is my son, trying to get a workout in. He's 13 and swims about 2 hours a day. About 6000+ yards a day, so getting in a good workout on a cruise ship pool is impossible. He'd take about 5 strokes there, and 6 strokes back. I had to keep telling him to NOT streamline. On the day this picture was taken, the seas were quite rough, the pool water was splashing everywhere. He had the pool to himself. Otherwise, we'd take him to the pool at 9:00 pm to get a workout in, and he usually had the pool to himself. Until the security guard kicked him out at 10:00 pm.
