My wife and i like to walk around when we get off the ship. I see that it is only about 1.5 miles to the falls from the ship. Is it okay to walk there.

Some cruisers are uncomfortable walking around jamaica. Also sincew you are a new poster and welcome by the way go back to what I call the home page and scroll down to the Ports of call section. then scroll to Jamaica. There is all sorts of info on that island plus any other place that princess cruises from. There is a wealth of information on this site and just take a tour around all the different forums.

You could but would be very tiring because the walk is up a steep hill. I have walked it before but I was much younger. I would highly recommend taking a cab for ease and comfort.
