Artemis acapulco (panama)

We are flying from Manchester to Acapulco to join the Artemis on 24th January 2009 for the P902 through the Panama Canal.

I have checked today to find that the plane chartered by P&O. TOM 765. will refuel somewhere (not yet disclosed) in the U.S. on the way. As a result all passengers WILL have to complete the U.S. Department of Homeland Security application form via the internet BEFORE they travel. The days of filling in the little green forms on the plane are over. See........ https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov

Would suggest that it be done as soon as possible by anyone who's flight might stop in the U.S. Apparently it is of no consequence if you do not get off the plane. Sounds a bit over the top perhaps but that's the rule and we have to get on with it. In our case in the 'Address While in the United States' I inserted 'In transit to Acapulco' which appeared sufficient.

Good luck and kind regards.

Clive
