Will the earthquake affect our port day?

I cannot answer specifically, because I don't know which city you will stop at in Costa Rica, but the tour guide we are booked with just responded to an email 2 hours ago, so things must be fine where he is at. We are stopping in Limon.

I just read an update from the American Embassy in Costa Rica that travel to the Poas Volcanoe and the LaPaz waterfall is not recommended at this time due to continued aftershocks. Apparently some American tourists were trapped there overnight after the quake and there is some damage. As long as the aftershocks continue I don't see any ship tours going there.
