Vanilousky Posted April 22, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 22, 2004 I have the great curiosity to know, why the Voyager Class Ships don't go to the mediterraneo. Reason why I have seen, these ships, once they leave the artilleryman, they travel directly to the United States. There is some specific reason?
See my Webshots Page.... Adventure of the Seas Again 10/17/04...

AltaJoe Posted April 22, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 22, 2004 Just a guess, but the Voyager Class ships are a destination in themselves. Many Pax don't even bother getting off when in a Carib port. There is a saying that "If you've seen one island, you've seen them all" The ports in the Med are the destinations. The ship is a nice way of getting there. Again, just my guess. Please no flames. Blue Darter Posted April 22, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 22, 2004 Know the Voyager class are restricted as to which ports they can visit in the Caribbean due to their size. Could be similar constraints in the Med??? Andy

cruisegeek2004 Posted April 22, 2004 #6 Share Posted April 22, 2004 HI GUYS, RCCL WAS ORIGINALLY PLANNING ON HAVING THE "ADVENTURE OF THE SEAS" SAIL THE MED IN 2001. BUT UNFORTUNATELY, 9/11, CHANGED ALL OF THAT..THEY ARE STILL PLANNING TO DO THIS BUT I THINK THEY ARE WAITING TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS WITH ANY ISSUES IN EUROPE, MAINLY TERRORISM. HOPEFULLY, IF THE EUROPE MARKET COMES BACK STRONG WHICH IT HAS THIS YEAR, WE MAY BE SEEING A VY CLASS SHIP VERY SOON!
