Carnival Inspiration or Destiny Golf

Hi. We are thinking about booking for spring break and I am trying to decide between the Destiny or Inspiration ships. Golfing is a huge factor so I am trying to figure out which has the best golf excursions. Also, if they are not offered at a port or are and it is very expensive, can you book on your own? I noticed a couple excursions were over $200 for 1 round of golf. Can you just find courses on your own and just take a cab to save $$$. We are looking at 5 nights for a cruise. Thanks!

We have yet to golf on a cruise, but the $200 sounds pretty normal. Check it out thoroughly, since it probably includes transportation, club rental, and sometimes food. If it's your first time in a port, you might also add in the peace of mind you would get booking with the cruise line, as far as making it back to port in time.

I hope you find something, and keep us posted on how it turns out.
