berwyn Posted January 11, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 11, 2009 Does Carnival accept dining room requests for a table for two? I am thinking of booking the Legend.
Ken076 Posted January 11, 2009 #2 Share Posted January 11, 2009 All that you can REQUEST is the Dining Time, and that's only a request (not guaranteed). Your actual Dining Room, Time, and Table are assigned at check-in on your S&S card; head immediately for the Maitre D' and ask for a Table for 2. ken

BrendaB1 Posted January 11, 2009 #4 Share Posted January 11, 2009 What are the chances the Maitre D' will be able to get us a table for two? Usaully pretty good if you go to dining room soon after boarding. Time & place will be in Capers.
momofzeke Posted January 11, 2009 #5 Share Posted January 11, 2009 I think you have a good chance. As soon as you get on the ship, go to the dining room. If it is not open yet, there will be a sign telling you when the Maitre' D will be available. Find your table, and if it is not a table for 2.......see the Maitre' D and ask him to move you to a 2-top. He will do everything he can to accomodate you. Good luck! onceagain Posted January 11, 2009 #6 Share Posted January 11, 2009 When we want a table for 2 we always request it at the same time we request the time, we've gotten it every time.
sa_girl Posted January 11, 2009 #7 Share Posted January 11, 2009 We were on the Legend in December and had Open Dining. The first night we were asked if we wanted a table for two or if we wanted a bigger table to share with others. We choose a bigger table and liked our fellow table guests so much we ate together for the rest of the cruise. However there were quite a few tables with just two. We never had a problem getting a table for the 6 of us and liked our two waiters so much we requested a table in their section every night. On two of the 7 nights their section was full when we went to dinner but they gave us a bleeper and we sat in the bar next to the dining room having a drink and within 10minutes on both nights we had a table exactly where we wanted it. My suggestion would be if you wanted a table for two try open dining it worked really well
