Rental Car Shuttle to Port Everglades

Call your car rental company to confirm, they were running from 8 am to 5 pm on Saturday's and Sunday's.

The Rental Car Center at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) houses many rental car companies under one roof that share a shuttle bus to and from Port Everglades. They suggest you confirm shuttle service with the car rental service prior to reserving a vehicle.

I just wanted to share a weird but great experience we had with our rental car return. We rented a car in June from Hotwire and got Avis. They were fantastic, but upon return, we asked the return guy where we go to get the shuttle for the Port Everglades. He then brought over a guy and the guy drove us over in the car to the ship. It was really nice.

Hi in FL for a few days with a rental, Catching a ship on Sunday afternoon, should we drop cr aoff at airport and take shuttle to port or drop off at Budget 17th street agency?

The 17th Street Budget location is easier and quicker to get in and out of. Even if they can't shuttle you the 5 minute cab ride from their offices to the port is only around $10.

How wonderful, thats is the kind of service that will keep you going back to them. Very smart.

Thanks for the info, I'm all for easier and makes sense to avoid the airport crowd even if it costs a bit more. It's hints like this from friendly folks which make these boards so great!
