golfer1966 Posted January 13, 2009 #2 Share Posted January 13, 2009 It was cheaper in St Lucia but we didnt catch anything. I hooked a big Mahi in St Maarten but couldnt land him. This doesnt mean you wont catch anything in St Lucia, but its cheaper there.

SI Cruiser Posted January 13, 2009 #4 Share Posted January 13, 2009 I fished in St. Thomas last November right after a hurricane. The fishing was slow but we did manage to land 3 barracuda up to 40lbs. We did the inshore 4 hour inshore trip for $500.00. This includes soft drinks and beer, all equipment for up to 4 people. The Captain and mate were both great guys originally from the U.S. They work hard to put you on the fish. For the most part they will put out six rods and troll with both bait and spoons. The charters are limited to 4 people . It was about a 1/2 hour taxi ride to the American Marina. I believe for a fee that they will also pick you up at the ship. Here is the link. http://www.reel-therapy.com/charters.htm
