Miami airport shuttle to Fort lauderdale

Has anyone ever used a shuttle bus from Miami airport to Fort lauderdale hotels other that Supershuttle?

Supershuttle are now charging $40 per person.

 

There will be four of us. A taxi will be cheaper but as we arrive in the rush hour we could get charged for time in traffic jams.

 

I've found several shuttle services on line but I wondered if anyone could recommend one.

The commuter train runs north and south in that area. It has stops at Miami Airport and FL airport. Its $4 each. if you have a hotel with free shuttle from FL airport, its a good deal. On the other hand, $40 is only 10 bucks each for 40, and thats not so bad.

Thanks paul but it's $40 each person not $40 for the van.

 

We are seniors and don't think we could manage with the bags on the Trirail.

I've frequently used the SuperShuttle service from the West Palm Beach and Ft. Lauderdale airports (though never to/from Miami). The service is fairly priced, on time, and the drivers are generally helpful.

 

Private van services will likely cost you quite a bit more.

 

You could try Metro Car - they have a web site - and see what they could offer...
